Hosted by Writing Our Legacy, explore the story of the Chattri Memorial, built in 1921 to commemorate Indian soldiers who fought alongside British forces during the First World War. This engaging workshop invites participants to use their senses, imagination and curiosity to recover hidden voices from the past through poetry and storytelling. Reflecting on themes of memory and identity, participants will be supported to create their own meaningful pieces to take away.
